Member Services offers additional services for Member Boards beyond what is provided for by the four key AAVSB programs of VIVA, RACE, PAVE and VTNE. This program works to provide quality resources that assist Member Boards in their regulatory mission. Member Services also encourages active participation by all Members and acts to best serve its Members by being responsive, resourceful and always striving for continuous quality improvement.
Annual Meeting and Conference
One of the most recognized Member Services is the Annual Meeting and Conference. This meeting brings together Member Boards to collaborate, educate, network and conduct business providing direction for the Association. Attendees are composed of Board Members, Board Administrators, AAVSB Committee Members, AAVSB staff and other key stakeholders in the veterinary regulatory industry.
Other Member Services offered by AAVSB include the Practice Act Model, License and Discipline tracking and Member Communication through print and electronic newsletters, President’s reports, presentations to Member Boards, a “members only” area on the website with discussion forum called MyAAVSB and exclusive access to the VIVA database.

This survey is conducted periodically and gives jurisdictions the opportunity to compare statistics and how pending regulatory issues are addressed. Click here for a copy
Practice Act Model
The AAVSB Practice Act Model was developed and is available to AAVSB Member Boards as a resource containing contemporary language regarding the regulation of veterinary medicine and veterinary technology.
VIVA License and Discipline database
As part of their mission of protecting the public, Member Boards routinely submit licensee information to the VIVA database. Boards can choose to electronically submit this information through AAVSB's online portal or submit files by mail or email.
