Application Process
To take the VTNE, you must apply and pay for the exam and you must apply for eligibility to take the exam.
Applications to take the VTNE are accepted all the time. However, there are deadlines for each examination window. Please pay attention to these deadlines. No late applications will be accepted.

Candidate Handbook

Step 1: Applying/Registering
Apply to take the exam with AAVSB. You will pay for the exam when you submit your application. AAVSB accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Click here for the application.
You must create a login for a MyAAVSB account at the time of your application. This account allows you to login and update personal information, ask questions, check status of your application, and review your official score report when available.

Step 3: Making Your Examination Appointment
After your application and eligibility have been processed, if approved, you will receive an Authorization-to-Test (ATT) letter from Professional Examination Service (PES). This letter explains how to make an examination appointment at a Prometric Testing Center which will determine the date, time, and location of your exam.
