Kansas City, MO. The American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) and Professional Examination Service (PES) have developed a new school report that includes the school's results for first-time takers of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE.) Directors of veterinary technology programs that are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) will now receive the CVTEA official school reports with combined data of students who took the examination for the first time. The reports, which are accessed via a secure online portal by each school, also include aggregate data that reflect the results of all exam-takers within a specific examination window. The official school reports are available for the schools to provide to the AVMA's Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).

The report was first issued in March 2012, and reflected VTNE scores from the November-December 2011 testing window. The new format was designed with input from veterinary technology program directors and the CVTEA.
