RACE Standards
Provider Renewal
Providers may renew their Approval status by renewing online using our Online Provider Renewal Application, or by submitting a completed Provider Renewal Application form (click here for fill-able PDF version or click here for MS Word version). The renewal application and Provider Renewal Application Fee should be submitted prior to the expiration date and a notification will be sent from the AAVSB database 60 days in advance of that date.
Late fees will apply to renewals submitted in the 60 days after Approval status expires. Renewal applications are not accepted more than 60 days after Approval status expires; the Provider must submit a New Provider Application and the associated fees.
All CE conducted by a Provider must meet the requirements specified by the RACE Standards. The Provider is responsible for assuring compliance. Provider approval status expires at the end of two (2) years from the date of approval. It is the responsibility of the Provider to keep approval status current.
Upon expiration or withdrawal of approved status as a RACE Provider, a provider may no longer display language indicating RACE approval on any materials including but not limited to brochures, advertisements, certificates or agendas.
Items to be enclosed with Provider Renewal Application:
- Copies of 3 randomly selected individual evaluations completed by attendees of your CE programs during the past 2 years
- Signed Provider Agreement form (PDF)
- Payment of renewal fee.
