Dr. Frank Richardson, President of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB), will host an open Roundtable Discussion to present the AAVSB Board of Directors’ decision on the Veterinary Professional Associate (VPA) role in Colorado. This important update will outline the AAVSB’s strategic plan to support the Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine and guide other AAVSB Member Boards addressing similar veterinary scope of practice issues.

This interactive session invites AAVSB Member Boards to engage directly with AAVSB leadership, including Dr. Richardson, President-elect Dr. Tim Kolb, and CEO Jim Penrod. Attendees will be able to ask questions, share feedback, and offer input on how the AAVSB can best support regulatory collaboration and workforce development in the veterinary profession.
