AAVSB® Unveils New Website & Updated Logo

Kansas City, MO (April 16, 2018) – The American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) is proud to unveil new branding, including a complete redesign of the AAVSB.org website, and a refresh of the organization’s logo. The website and logo were last redesigned in 2009.

The new website provides an improved user experience and focuses on presenting the right information to the right user at the right time. The streamlined navigation creates an intuitive, self-service feel to the site while highlighting the site's functionality. The AAVSB has ensured the site is responsive and presents content for maximum usability based on the device the visitor is using, including desktop computers, mobile phones, and tablets.

"We’re thrilled to finally get to share our new website with our Member Boards, their licensees, students, exam candidates, and members of the public to whom the AAVSB is an indispensable resource," said the AAVSB's Executive Director Jim Penrod. "Our website and logo have evolved, but our mission to support and advance the regulatory process for veterinary medicine is the same. We've simply increased our ability to reach and interact with our key audiences thereby providing greater support to our member boards."

The AAVSB partnered with two companies to complete the website redesign project. Level Five Solutions, Inc. is a user-experience firm based in Overland Park, Kansas. Level Five researched and surveyed the users of AAVSB.org to create a completely new, easily navigable, and visually appealing website interface. Adventure Tech, a web and software development company also based in Overland Park, Kansas, completed the code implementation of the webpage content, and continues day-to-day maintenance of the AAVSB's software and application development.

The refreshed logo was designed by Lost & Found Designs, an online-based creative design company.
