Penrod, CAE, FASLA, has shared his intention to retire on July 31, 2027, following more than a decade of transformative leadership.
Since joining the AAVSB eleven years ago, Penrod has worked closely with the Board of Directors, Member Boards, staff, and allied organizations to strengthen the programs and services that support veterinary regulation across North America. His tenure has been marked by a strong focus on future‑oriented strategy, innovation, and the evolving needs of veterinary medicine.
“It has been a privilege to work alongside the AAVSB’s members, volunteers, and staff. I am proud of what we have accomplished together in support of veterinary regulation and public protection, and I am confident that the association’s future is bright.”
